Sandy Intarsia Pattern
Sandy Intarsia Pattern
Sanding this young lady was a pleasure. Hence the name. Sandy.
The plan shows a short haired version as well.
I blew the plan up and made a large one that certainly attracts attention at exhibitions.
Although we don't sell so many to male woodworkers when their partners are looking over their shoulder.
You will only need 2 shades of timber for her skin plus a darker timber colour for her hair.
I chose to make a dark haired beauty with a deep suntan which allowed me to use richer timber colours.
She could be a blonde but you may loose some of the impact with the lighter timbers
