Palm Cockatoo Intarsia Pattern
Palm Cockatoo Intarsia Pattern
The actual colours of a real life Palm Cockatoo are very dark grey or black with crimson cheeks.
I've taken a few artistic liberties with the colours. And you can too. With any of the designs. Just don't forget that contrast is good.
One of our most challenging designs but you don't get nothing for nothing.
But layering simplifies construction.
- First make the background
- Then glue the fence posts on top of the background
- Next the fence cross piece glues on top of the posts
- And finally the bird, which you made separately, is glued on top of the fence
This construction process is laid out and illustrated in detail on the pattern.
But don't take our word, check out some of our Customer's Finished Cockatoo Projects.
This pattern covers both sides of the A2 paper. Lots of detail to guide you through this challenging project.
