Lazy Kanga Intarsia Pattern
Lazy Kanga Intarsia Pattern
This Deckchair Kangaroo project, included in the book Intarsia Down Under, introduces the idea of using the third dimension in intarsia.
This is as easy as glueing the deckchair frame on top of the kangaroo but it adds that extra bit of interest to the design.
This is taken to much greater limits in the Bikie project at the end of the book. He has 4 separate layers that give a great 3D effect.
This pattern is included in my book Intarsia Down Under and not only includes a full size plan but 2 pages of detailed instructions along with 17 full colour step by step photos. Anyone will be able to make this amusing intarsia.
